KB - UCS Port-Channel with LACP not stablishing.

Issue:

• After creating an LACP port-channel from a UCS, LACP peering fails, causing the port-channel to fail.

Resolution:

There are several things that need to be checked:

• In the UCS:

1. Verify that LACP mode is correctly set to active or passive.
2. Ensure that all the correct interfaces are assigned to the port-channel.
3. Confirm that the speed and duplex mode are correctly configured.
4. Verify that the channel is up.

• In the peer device:

1. Confirm that LACP is supported on the device.
2. Ensure that the LACP mode is compatible with the LACP mode configured on the UCS.
3. Verify that the correct interfaces are assigned to the correct port-channel.
4. Match the speed and duplex settings to the UCS configuration.
5. Verify that the channel is up.
